Lucy Mwai

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Lucy is a licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of Maryland in the United States. She attended Baltimore City College and she later obtained her Dental Hygiene degree at the University of Maryland where she practiced in Catonsville, Maryland USA for 6 years.
Later she moved back to Kenya to follow her passion in Dental Hygiene. As a licensed dental specialist, she focuses on providing high quality preventive oral care to patients through clinical, educational and therapeutic services, teaching them the proper way of flossing and brushing.
Her best side about being a hygienist is the relationship she forms with each patient. She prides herself in being very thorough, yet gentle in her treatment and does what she can to make patients feel comfortable in the dental chair.
While not in the clinic Lucy enjoys spending time with her daughter and singing in the church family choir. She is also a Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Karen.

Kezia Wacuka (Kezi)

Clinic Team Lead (C.T.L)

Being part of the clinic since it opened its doors in 2014, Kezzie has over 20 years of experience in the dental field.
She has assisted with just about any dental procedure imaginable; from coordinating appointments to treatment planning and everything in between. She works hard to ensure that everyone, patients and staff are happy. Being a dedicated team player, she is always eager to jump in to help anyone who may need a hand or to comfort anyone who needs a pat on the back.
Kezzie has a passion for dentistry and nothing is more rewarding to her than seeing patients truly happy with confident smile. Her ultimate goal is to eliminate patient’s fear and anxiety.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughters, sharing the good news from the Bible with her neighbors and browsing through social media and her favorite website

Lucia Ndungulu

Certified Dental Assistant (C.D.A) Diploma in Dental Nursing

Lucia has a cool and calm personality, that will put any nervous patient at ease.
She is a very compassionate person and always makes sure the patients understand the treatment and procedures required. She enjoys working in a fun, family and friendly atmosphere where she knows she is making a difference in each of the patient’s Dental.
In her spare time, Lucia loves watching telenovela shows while spending time with her three children.

Preston Madegwa (Uncle P)

Certified Dental Assistant (C.D.A) Diploma in Dental Nursing

Preston has been with Dental Smiles for 4 yrs. He knows how to make kids feel comfortable and their experience a positive one. Compassion, kind and patience are the three words that describe him. He is a fun of kids and goes by the name ‘Uncle P’
His favorite part of the job is giving patients a lead in their oral health that leads to a life time of great oral health.

Roselyne Khatenje (Tenje)

Dental Assistant (D.A)

Roselyn is the newest member of Dental smiles. She really loves being involved with the patients. Her goal every day is to make each patient’s visit as pleasant as possible. You’ll often hear Tenje in the operatory laughing and sharing jokes with patients to make them feel comfortable.
She finds it extremely satisfying to see a patient leave happy with a new found confidence just because they like what they now see in the mirror.
After work she looks forward to going home to spend time with her young daughter while cooking mrenda, one of Kenya’s delicacies.
